MFA Help

Why am I seeing a different login page?

Your organization now requires that you log into MRI through Okta, which uses multi-factor authentication (MFA). You will need to set up an Okta account and configure your MFA settings.

What is multi-factor authentication?

MFA is a security technology that requires users to provide multiple methods of authentication, such as a notification on your phone or a one-time code sent via text message. Using MFA is one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent unauthorized account access and protect your information.

How do I set up my account?

Check your email inbox for an email from noreply@okta.com. The email should look similar to the email shown here. In the email, click Activate Okta Account and follow the instructions to set up your Okta account and multi-factor authentication settings.

You will need to set a new password and select your second authentication factor. Your new user ID will be your email address. For detailed information on setting up multifactor authentication, please visit Setting Up and Authenticating with Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).

What if I can’t find the activation email?

  • Check your email’s spam folder. The email may have been routed here depending on your organization’s email security settings.
  • If you cannot find the email or the link has expired, contact your organization’s MRI administrator and ask them to generate a new Okta activation email for you.
